I know, parents. I know. It feels like we just finished back-to-school shopping and already, the kids are making their holiday wish lists, we have to bulk up their fall/winter wardrobe, and keep up with the fall styles and with what “everybody else is wearing.”
I feel the pain, too, because I have a 6-year-old in sports who, it seems, always needs new gear, and a 16-year-old in sports and wants to keep up with the latest trends.
So, where do I take a 6-year-old AND a 16-year-old shopping where they’ll both find clothing and shoes they need and that they’ll wear without complaints? Kids Foot Locker!
A Kid’s Wish List At Kids Foot Locker
One of the biggest challenges I face as a parent of a teen and a toddler is finding anything – shopping, vacations, dinner – that they will both agree on. At least when we shop at Kids Foot Locker, I know we’re getting brand names they love and clothing that will last well into next season.
These Nike Tech Fleece Pants for girls are not only super cute, but they’re also super warm. And comfortable, according to my daughter. Normally, when it comes to my little one who grows more quickly than the weeds in my garden, I don’t spring for name brands. BUT – being in sports, and being as active as she is, we’ve found that name brands like Nike just hold up better in certain situations.
By the way, I’m still looking for these pants in adult size.
Nike also has really fun and very comfortable graphic shirts for girls. They always have slogans on their shirts for girls that are encouraging and fun which I LOVE.
Also, can I just mention – my favorite part about shopping at Kids Foot Locker are the tiny little versions of the adult shoes that are on display. My daughter found these adorbs little Nike Free 5.0 shoes that both her “favorite colors, mom! On one shoe!” I mean, that much excitement about a shoe that was less than $50? How could I say no?
While my daughter loves Nike, my son prefers ADIDAS. Since I can get both brands at Kids Foot Locker, that’s another bonus to shopping there.
This Kids ADIDAS Originals Superstar Track Top was at the top of his list. He saw it online and he saved his allowance to be able to afford it. It was under $50 so it didn’t take long, but I’ve never seen him save up for anything!
So there are multiple benefits to shopping at Kids Foot Locker this fall/winter season.
